Here for sale is a rare example of an aluminum mid-century modern Hans Jacobbson table lamp. The lamp is in working order with the exceptions to the switch which should be replaced. The lamp is in good condition with the exceptions to some dings and scratches on the base and on the shade. Also, the shade is slightly out of round and has been professionally repaired. Also, one rivet is a little bit loose but the shade itself is structurally sound. As of this posting 12/1/2022 there are no listings for this lamp that I could find at any price. On offer is a very rare early example of Rose Cabat’s Feelie Pottery. The piece is among the largest she made, at 5 1/2″ in height and 5″ across. The opening at the top is comparatively large for a Feelie. The glaze is mossy green with turquoise sneaking through at the top and base. The underside is marked with an early signature, an R inside a C. There are several other inscribed marks, likely codes for her glaze and/or form. The vessel is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or other problems to note. A very rare and fine early example from one of America’s greatest ceramic artists.
