RARE VINTAGE MID CENTURY HEYWOOD WAKEFIELD BIRCH STEP END TABLE / SIDE TABLE. This Gorgeous Arched “Wishbone Legs” Step End Table is. Made from solid birch. No particle board and no veneer. With its classic mid-century design the table appears to float with its thin. Tapered edges and blonde wood. The arched, animal-like legs that. Seem ready to walk across the room. This end table was manufactured by Heywood Wakefield of Massachusetts using. Dense, birch very hard to dent and super heavy. This table is in excellent condition showing minimal signs of wear. It was produced between 1948 and 1953. Features a 2 tier design with splayed arched legs. One of Heywood Wakefield’s most classic designs. Its marked with the classic heywood wakefield eagle logo on the bottom.
