Small table lamp manufactured by Stilnovo, Italy (attributed). Funnelled lampshade is made of aluminium lacquered in a pistachio coloured paint on the outside and white on the inner. Plated stem with ball joints to the shade and base. The rounded base is made of aluminium painted pistachio. The original switch is plated on the base. There is one plastic bulb socket. The lamp is in very good / good vintage condition and in full working order. There are many paint chips to the base (please see picture). European two pin plug. The lamp takes one e14 bulb. As with all vintage electrical equipment, it is advisable to have it checked by a qualified electrician. Can be used with 110-230v supplies. Although we strive to give as accurate a description as possible, patina and age-related wear are to be expected. However, we will always indicate any noticeable defects. Diameter of lampshade: 10cm/3.9. Length of lampshade: 15cm/5.9. Diameter of base: 11cm/4.3. Length of cord:125/49.2. Length of cord: 95cm/ 37.4. Approximate weight packed: 2.5kg. In 1928, it was the first such tubular-steel frame caned seat type of chair that was mass-produced. It was among the 10 most common such chairs. One of the original ones from that time sits in the Museum of Modern Art in Manhattan. Associate Curator at the Department of Architecture and Design at the Museum of Modern Art, Cara McCarty, referred to the chair as being among the 10 most important chairs of the 20th century. Made in Italy 1970’s. Price is for both chairs. Note: chairs are from different sets. Overall Height: 30.5. Use the pictures as part of the description. The are a couple small break that are hardly noticeable on each of the seats. Cane on back rests are in excellent condition. The chair with no arm rest does have some minor chipping that is occurring on the front part of the seat. Minor wear on the bottom part of the front seat. Chrome is in good condition, with some spots. All vintage items are just that; used and loved through the years.
