THIS LISTING IS FOR A VERY RARE VINTAGE BLENKO #7036 JOEL MYERS TANGERINE DECANTER WITH ITS ORIGINAL RARE STOPPER. THIS DECANTER IS IN VERY GOOD VINTAGE PRE-OWNED CONDITION SEE PICTURES, IT IS SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL! THIS DECANTER IS VERY RARE! IT WAS THEN DISCONTINUED BY BLENKO. THEY ONLY MADE THESE FOR A FEW MONTHS. THIS DECANTER IS THE TANGERINE COLOR, NOT TO BE MISTAKEN FOR AMBERINA COLOR. THE COLORS ARE SIMILAR, BUT THIS COLOR IS TANGERINE. THE DECANTER WITH STOPPER MEASURES 16 TALL. THE DIAMETER OF BASE IS 3.25. THE ORIGINAL BLENKO STICKER IS STILL ATTACHED, BUT SOME TEXT IS MISSING. THE RARE ORIGINAL STOPPER MEASURES 4.25″ LENGTH AND 2 5/8″ DIAMETER ON TOP. Rare early Blond Maple Drawer Florence Knoll sofa with older channeled iron frame. This is the only blond version I have seen. They are always in walnut and sometimes teak. The Maple option was only offered in the very beginning of the release of this design, and only for a very short time. The blond wood really sets off the black frame. Cushions are soft but needs redoing in your own fabric. The box is original, and I left it that way, but would look better if completely refinished. The total length is 120 inches. Deep 22 inch seat. Back height 30 inches. The piece looks fabulous in the middle of the room, front or back. The black frame has been resprayed in a beautiful semi-gloss. In the pictures, the frame was not yet sprayed. It’s beautiful now! The prices on 1stdibs for the common Walnut drawer version is between 7,000 and 9,400. This price is giveaway, especially the fact that this is a super rare Maple drawer box.
