Hand Blown & fused this beautiful bowl has a great Husted design Made in High Style Design of the Eames Era. Wayne Husted’s “tri-color” glass bowl, was designed for the 1958 Blenko Glass catalog (#5831) and produced only in 1958, is a gorgeous, highly coveted mid-century find. According to Blenko “lore” this piece was discontinued because it was too difficult and expensive to produce profitably. The technique used is what Murano calls INCALMO–the fusing of multiple glass pieces together using heat to form one, and it requires a great deal of skill. Measurements: 3 1/2 Ht. X 7 1/4 Dia. At opening x 2 3/4 Dia. No chips, cracks or restorations, minute scratches from use, few factory flaws in the making.
