Size / dimensions: 4′ x 6. BLOCK SHOP TEXTILES RARE ONE OF A KIND SAMPLE RUG, never used. This rug / dhurrie has never been walked on and was only used for photos by Block Shop Textiles. It measures 50″ x 74″ precisely and is considered a 4′ x 6′ rug. This one is one of a kind and was never available on the website. There was only one made of this rug. The rug is in MINT condition but does have some minor natural imperfections which I took close photos of, nothing major. This is a cotton rug. It can also be used as a wall hanging. I included a picture of a similar rug hanging on a wall behind the founders of Block Shop. FROM THE BLOCK SHOP TEXTILES WEBSITE. Our heirloom dhurries are woven by a family of master weavers outside Jaipur, India. We start with watercolor sketches, which our team interprets onto traditional two-person looms with hand-dyed cotton. Woven over the course of several months, our dhurries are as durable as they beautiful. Dhurries are lightweight yet virtually indestructible. Designed for heavy use in the Thar Desert of Rajasthan, they wear beautifully with age inside the most trafficked rooms of a busy household. We suggest using a rug pad underneath for extra cushion and longer wear. Vacuum regularly, spot clean as needed. It has a woofer in the bottom facing the ground, and the mid and horn behind the cloth. Its in great condition for the age. The fabric is in excellent condition! Great looking privacy screen made by Artek, Finland. The design is by Alvar Aalto. It is made of pine with a clear coat finish. It measures 78.5″ in length and 59.125″ high. The individual pieces are approximately 3/4″ wide x 1″ long. The screen is in excellent vintage condition. There is one “repair” to an end strip that is a gouge to the wood that was amateurishly fixed wit wood putty. There are a few minor scrapes and a few specks of paint. Atomic Orb Globe Space Age Mid Century Retro BALL INDOOR/ Outdoor Patio Light & MCM unused Ash Tray with original box. This lamp has been designed for the outdoors made for a pool deck or patio. It has a heavy duty construction. The globe is made out of a thick translucent plastic resembling Tupperware. The pole is made out of PVC which also coats the base. The base is a heavy weighted ceramic. The lamp has a silicone push button off/on switch has 2 settings of on (bright/dull). The cord to the lamp is thick heavy coated. As stated in the picture it is suitable for wet areas. This lamp is in overall good condition. On the globe part of the lamp there are some spots from age that look like dust but will not clean off. I have tried to show the age spots in photos. The other part of the globe is in nice condition solid translucent white color. Overall the lamp is lightweight because of the plastic design however the weighted bottom keeps it secure. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST AND TIME. On offer is a very rare early example of Rose Cabat’s Feelie Pottery. The piece is among the largest she made, at 5 1/2″ in height and 5″ across. The opening at the top is comparatively large for a Feelie. The glaze is mossy green with turquoise sneaking through at the top and base. The underside is marked with an early signature, an R inside a C. There are several other inscribed marks, likely codes for her glaze and/or form. The vessel is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or other problems to note. A very rare and fine early example from one of America’s greatest ceramic artists. Stunning pair of vintage 1950s/1960s Italian / Scandinavian mid-century modern glass pendant lamps. From the now closed Design Center in midtown NYC. Handsome slate blue-cased glass outer shade and white inner glass shade. One lamp has one very small chip that barely flecks the blue glass and a couple of tiny flea bites. The other does have a couple tiny chips and a couple fleabites to the blue shade and a couple tiny fleabites to the white interior. One pic shows three lamps.
