FEATURED: A very scarce Mid Century amazing double cone, dual arm table light, possibly by Stilnovo or Laurel, we believe, in gorgeous vintage condition, with rotating aluminum cones, brass plated moving arms, solid base and that fantastic look on any surface, lighting up your area with elegance and that great Mid Century style. Maker unknown, but obviously someone with a great modern design eye and great taste in home/office lighting, very Stilnovo or Laurel in looks, but during this Golden Era of Design, there were other great lighting companies producing super lights like this.. We loved the many ways the brass arms could be adjusted, as well as the aluminum cones, giving one so many different lighting effects and angles, both atmospheric as well as practical. This also has a dual off/on switch, so one side only can be on, or both at the same time, your choice of the moment. Want a cool, sleek, sophisticated wowza of a lamp, one that you will not see anywhere else, at any price? This would be it. MEASURES: Base is: 14 inches long, 6 inches wide, 1.75 inches high. Aluminum double cone shades: each are 10.5 ” long, 5″ diameter (section with light inside) and 3.25 diameter. Brass arms are 10 inches long, raise to height of 10 inches. With shades pointing out, 26 across from opening of large cone to the other opening across. Both cone shades rotate 360 degrees, and tilt straight down and can point straight up. The lights turn on/off individually as well as together. Both arms and cones are on ball jointed swivels; the arms are less flexible than the cones. Please see photos for some of the angles. Base is covered with old black felt in good condition, original working electricals in good condition also. Some age and use-related wear, minor surface scratches and age effects noted to arms; base has noted wear, scratches, missing color to brass finish, but we feel this does not detract from the overall beauty of this rare lamp. This would be strikingly elegant on a mantel as well as a desk or sideboard, and really makes a unique statement in any decor.
