Mid Century Modern Kitsch Danish 2 Glass Globe Tulip Walnut Floor Lamp Rare UFO. Okay The Good The bad and The ugly. I have owned this lamp for over eleven years bought it out of a beautiful estate. When I bought it one of the shades had a crack in it it has never gotten any worse ever it’s still perfectly fine I just always stuck that side by the wall I took a picture of it. There are 2 bitty teeny tiny ball brass end washers That are missing on the brass tubes.. I actually like him without anything there but I used in wire to hold them together it’s just a stopper type washer basically. If you take it off the top it spreads the lamp out a little bit better and it looks better I think! I used thin wire I had found some at a lamp shop but got the wrong size never been an issue can’t tell… The lamp is worked perfect for all these years just now one of the light bulb aluminum pieces that’s in the socket is loose so I took that lightbulb out because I don’t want anything to happen to the lamp I was told it was an easy fix. If u wiggle the light bulb it comes right on… This lamp is seriously beautiful and extremely rare.. Vintage Modeline Danish Teak Wood Table Lamp Lot of 2 for repair. One is missing the pull chain mechanism up on the socket. The one with the original pull chain switch did not light when I put in a new bulb. Shades are original but a bit toasted. One of the shades has the original Modeline label. One of the shades is missing the small brass clips that hold the shade at the top to the wood. Both are 40 tall. Some signs of wear, but I would say the fixtures are in good cosmetic condition. I would highly recommend rewiring them. Local pick-up is also available. Fabulous pair of Anna Castelli Componibili Units for Kartell yellow plastic stacking storage nightstands or end tables. These can also be stacked on top of one another to be four units tall. They are amazing–I have my own pair in my personal collection that I use as a night tables. The perfect modular furniture for a minimal modern setting. The yellow color is gorgeous and really pops. Looks amazing next to greenery. Pictures of the actual item you will receive. Excellent condition–no cracks and I have buffed them using an Acrylic Plastics polishing system. RARE Søholm wallhanging Rare to find piece by Gerd Hiort Petersen! This stunning wall plaque is by Danish ceramist Gerd Hiort Petersen (1937-) and is one of her very first pieces for the famous Søholm pottery on the Danish island Bornholm. It has an almost sculptural surface showing two women with a huge plant in the middle – probably a kind of fertility motif. It´s from the 1960s and the vibrant blue glaze is so typical for Søholm pieces from this period. It´s the same blue as also in known from Einar Johansens Blue Series. But here it´s even more vivid because of the very structured surface. Very good used condition One small glaze loss at outer rim, right side bottom – see image Otherwise no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs height: 10.2 inches / 26 cm width: 12.6 inches / 32 cm depth: 1.6 inch / 4 cm weight: 3025g + wrapping About the artist Gerd Hiorth Petersen was born on the island Bornholm and was the first female potter apprentice on Bornholm when she came to Michael Andersen & Sons pottery in 1954. She studied a couple of years at Akademie für angewandte Kunst in Vienna, Austria and also a couple of years at the Danish School of Arts & Crafts in Copenhagen. She has worked for Royal Copenhagen and Søholm Pottery. From 1973 she has run her own ceramic studio together with her husband Hans Munck Andersen on Bornholm. Just also mention your destination.
